It's not that he's odd, its just that he's probably a punter.

He's USED to paying women for sex, else he would not have come up so easily with an idea relating to money as a balm to her feelings, which (to most of us) is odd or peculiar.

Most people would think "Oh fuck, I've upset her, and I'm not likely to get a date out of her, let alone get my end away, if I don't send her some flowers/chocolates/a card with a cute kitten on it" - they don't think "Oh, to salve my conscience and save her feelings, I'll give her some cash".

He definitely thinks you have a price, because he thinks all women can be soothed with cash. And £500 is probably half of what he thinks it is. Cos he's not giving you the whole price of the shag, he's giving you conscience money.

Definitely walk away. He probably pays £20 for hand jobs and then tries to get the girls to let him suck their tits as well
