I've just got Copliot Live on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) and it's running fine, but it seems to give all the directions very late, i.e. when I'm almost on the roundabout the little woman says which exit to take.

Has anyone else experienced this? I've had a look at the settings and they're set to give plenty of warning. I assume this would be less of an issue on the motorway, but through town I've almost gone past the turn off before she says where to go.

At the moment I'm just testing it on the way to work so it's not dangerous, but am planning on heading up to the NEC on Sunday and wanted to try it out then.

Also, has anyone managed to get the audio to work with the screen off?

I should point out my phone is in my pocket and I'm only listening to the directions.

Thanks in advance,

-Ifor

It depends on the signal that the unit is getting. In town in built up areas all sat nav type things are slower, if your phone is in your pocket then it will be even more slow. Don't forget you may be going quicker than a normal vehicle would be going and the system is working for.

Seems to be fine on my Sensation.
Use it in the car - it says it both early and just before I think.
I like the way that if the next junction is close it will mention both "turn left, then right".

Go into settings then turn warnings and you can customise when it speaks to you.
