Or for £13k you could get this and stick an original swingarm on it:

Why does it have two exhausts?

One is the exhaust, one is the wastegate.

Probably needs that swinging arm to keep the front end down when it comes on boost Laughing

Tbh though, would rather spend the cash on last years WSB, and put a reg plate on it Wink

Wonder if that money would buy you a 990 MotoGP bike??? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

That first one is utterly beautiful. Take off the crappy adverts at the bottom of the fairing and it can come home with me Mr. Green

getting old.
To me, it looks like just another plastic fantastic.
One that some-one has left to long near an unsupervised five year old with a pack of Crayola, who'se carefully coloured in the tyres relief grooves!
I think the tyres actually look quite good, but TBH I wouldn't give the rest of it a second look, or even know it wasn't a 100% factory bike, or pro-painted stocker.

That kind of money wouldn't buy you last years WSB $86,000 is about £50,000. A WSB is going to be more like £150,000+.
MotoGP bikes are hard to price as it's all the man hours that go into designing and building one. So making one from scratch is many millions, buying an old out of date one that wasn't successful enough to be worth keeping might set you back £100k or so. Something like an ex Rossi M1 is probably priceless. They're either in a Yamaha museum or were dismantled to stop others finding out technical secrets.

Would £50k get you a second hand ducati Desmo? i dunno.

If i were going to throw big money on the ultimate sports bike i'd build it myself and get something unique and probably pretty similar to one of the CRT motoGP bikes

I'd spend $6000 on the bike and the remaining $80,000 on keeping it in tyres and trackdays.

Not sure on price of last year's WSB, but previous year's BSB used to be around £15k - getting a chunk over 200hp a few years ago, so presumably a bit more now.
Should be able to fairly easily lose some weight chucking some money at it - think decent ones are generally on the minimum weight limit; sometimes adding weight to bring it up.

Pfffff, I like it...a lot!!

But NOT at that money.

Maybe $6,000 on a bike and keep the $80,000 for living it a bit and having FUN! and shit like that but it's a great looking bike!! Laughing

NO chance You could build a WSB spec bike for £150,000 I reckon. A used one wouldn't be any more than £50,000.

I suspect you could build something not far off WSB 'spec' for that money from scratch.
This is presuming you're not adhering to the WSB rules, but looking to achieve a similar end result.
Would presume it's the suspension and electronics packages that are going to bump the price up.

Definitely for your average Joe on the street, I reckon you could get a bike that offers 'much everything a WSB bike would offer for £50k.
Wouldn't be surprised, especially if you started from an ex-BSB bike and went second hand for parts too, if you could push it to moto-gp sort of spec levels.

Ducati Desmo RR's go for about £30k but it's the 24hr service that you should be thinking about Laughing

Gotta say the nicest thing is the tires guess I just don't appreciate sport bikes that much as that looks just ordinary.

Though the tires looks completely awesome
