Somone mentioned a while ago about wearing these are wearing cargo trousers on the bike .

Anyone give a link or suggestion on a pair as looking for a black pair i can get away with wearing to the office

Draggin do cargos at about £140 a pair but I would not like to spend all day in an office in them as the lining would make them too warm. Cargos on a bike are problematic IMHO as things fall out of the knee pockets. Just keep a suit at work and change into it when you arrive.

I used to wear my normal cargo jeans when out riding as I didn't have any proper leg protection. They were just £5 a pair from a small clothes shop. Although I don't use them anymore now on the bike they did survive a fall when I was on the cbt at 30mph no rips or marks; unlike my rst jeans.

Hood Jeans do an 'office style' pair of trousers. I can't remember if they have cargo pockets though. Their green jeans, and the camo ones do have a side pocket that is velcro closing. I've got a pair of the green jeans and they get a thumbs up from me so far, they mean I can jump on the bike to go in to town and not have to walk around looking decidedly blue oyster club in leather jeans. Very Happy They're even comfy enough to walk the dog in.

Depending on the office, you may get away with Draggin' black denims - they've a very dark close weave, they don't really look like jeans.

On the other hand, have you looked out the window lately? When it turns foul I wear Cordura trousers, one size up, over work trousers.

Didn't have them on me forgot I wasn't wearing them and it makes you feel more alert when you aren't wearing gloves. At one point I was wearing a Kevlar jacket no armor, second hand helmet that had been dropped, them jeans oh and trainers for a short while with my normal gloves (sometimes) Embarassed

Like the thread that come up last week about cycling and not having that much control wearing motorbike gloves its true.

Did a stretch of 60mph not that fast but before that took the gloves off and put them in my bag whilst I was working on the bike at the side of the road. Helped me keep control of the bike more weird but true.

Also timbo these might do they are textile though and not sure how they are rated
