Hi everyone my name is tim. 20 years odd ago I used to enjoy bombing around on my many small motorcycles.
Anyhow the bug has got me again so I just bought a DTR125 for the hell of it and have my CBT this Friday.
Can't wait tbh it's been a while but the feel of the wind through my lack of hair is something to look forward to.
Just had to have a 2 stroker, the smell of it first thing in the morning................. |

Welcome
A mid life crisis doesn't usually incorporate a 2 stroke, but I like your style. ____________________ Current Ride: Daytona 600 |

Welcome Tim, like you I have recently came back to biking after 20+ years, also used to have 2 strokes. Did my CBT in July and bought a 4 stroke 125 which I enjoyed but a little disappointed with. Decided to do direct access and now have a rather nice Triumph Street Triple. Like others have said go for your licence, get a big bike..makes it even more fun ____________________ Mod 2 passed 26/10/2011

Well I done the cbt which was easy.
Been tweaking the old dt 125, she is very swift up the gears so will up the front sprocket and I have had to sort the brakes as they just did not work lol, forgot how handy a one man bleed system was.
Going to restore this bike over the winter - spring and get the tests sorted.
Felt good to be out on a bike again, can't wait to get my dr400 supermoto though!
