WARNING THIEVES ABOUT - A bike theft took place today of two very very trick bikes.... a hybrid 748R which has been built in up to a very special 998s Track Bike - in Infostrada livery. The bike is dripping in corse magnesium parts and full factory kit together with WSB Spec ohlins gas forks and is very recognisable.... (the bike some of you will know it - is lovingly referred to as ASBO) and the other is a road going 749R registration BX04 UGB. The 749R currently has no rear shock fitted. There is a £5,000 reward for the recovery of these bikes or information on the thieves.
Pictures of the 998 can be seen here.... https://picasaweb.google.com/107857762089608033373/Brands2ndJune2010DucatiDayPitPics?authuser=0&feat=directlink
This is the 749R https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RH4njCRfyHM/TA1Y4Tu06XI/AAAAAAAAAQc/12Z0uAfpfGg/s800/all%252520photos%252520from%252520nikon%252520618.JPG
Both of these bikes are very distinctive - particularly ASBO and the parts are so trick they will stand out a mile - please keep your eyes peeled - and keep your bikes locked down!.
Any information should be passed to JerryXT on Ducatisti/UKMOC or 07411 869 898. ____________________ My other bike's a Monster... |

I`m thinking that someone clued up enought to nick such special bikes, wont be stupid enough to put them on Fleece-Bay UK ?
What sort of security did these bikes have?
No disrespect, but as they were very special, why did`nt they have a bit of extra special security?.
Sorry to hear of the loss ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

I can see why they stole em tbh, terrific looking bikes there mate.
What a bunch of total arse holes eh!
Sorry for your loss mate, fukin makes my blood boil. All that hard work to pay for stuff and work involved and some low life just takes it.
Insurance just doesn't cover it tbh.
I'm sure they were well secured (I hope) and were probably stolen by pro's.
Sorry for the loss but I don't think you will see em again, although I hope you do ____________________ My Lane Position is always AWESOME!! |
