Just found this on the BBC website, enter your postcode and it gives the details of fatal road accidents in the area.

If that data is true then why have they dropped the speed limit on a straight clear road near me from 60 to 40 if there have been no road deaths in the past 11 years.

I would say it is massively inaccurate, it hasn't recorded 3 deaths which took place on the same day, on the same road within hours of each other last year (supposed to be from 2010)
And on top of that the one accident involving a bike the info is wrong, it involved two cars not one car, one car pulled across the path of said bike, avoiding action was taken just as another car pulled out of the junction, creating a very nasty accident Sad Sad

Also missing a few others, place where I used to live is missing one, actually there is frigging loads missing off there.

I agree as I know of a couple of fatals on the road that I mentioned that haven't been put on there. Thumbs Up
