You usually see them on the actual forth road bridge itself. Usually when it's very windy, they'll drop it down to 30mph. It was like that on Saturday night when I was heading over that way. Although I think these ones don't have a red circle round them, so I don't know if that makes a difference. ____________________ Honda NSR125R -> Suzuki GSXR400R GK76a -> Kawasaki ZX636 B1H -> Honda CBR400RR NC29 -> Nothing |

My understanding was that they only flash at you if you're exceeding the speed limit, so it's sort-of handy where you think you've slowed down for e.g. a village, but your sense of speed is distorted and you're actually doing 40 in a 30, say.
They also apparently don't flash over a certain speed limit, to stop people from trying to set high scores ____________________ My Old CBR400RR | Bike Oil FAQ | Petrol FAQ |

Sorry,but they are not advisory.
The're telling you the speed limit on the road (like a nomal speed limit sign would)and also that you are exceeding the speed limit.
So slow down you naughty criminal you ____________________ Nothing gets the point across quite like a raised middle digit.
