PostPosted: 22:54 - 04 Dec 2011    Post subject: Show us your Christmas Trees !!!! Reply with quote

I have seen a few people on here showing their trees on Facebook, so lets see them on BCF too.

For me, personally this was our first year in our first house (moved in Feb), but we both decided to put the Christmas tree up on the 1st of December and take it back down on the 26th.

However due to work commitments we ended up putting the tree up on Wednesday night (30th Nov).

All the presents for everyone were purchased at the start of Novemeber and about 90% of them were wrapped by mid-November; however there are some still to do.

I let my girlfriend decorate the house and the tree all by herself.

What is your usual Christmas/festive routine?

The tree is a cheap Tesco one (£25 lights and decorations included) 6ft.

I bought the same tree this year, glad you posted yours as I did wonder what it is going to look like, as you probably guessed my tree is still in the box, where it shall stay until christmas starts, around the 13th of December.

Edit-Your presents look very neatly wrapped Thumbs Up

No Tree/Decs for me.

Flatmate is away from Christmas eve to the middle of January.

I'll be working over it, so wont be feeling very 'festive'.

Really don't get some of the above comments.

You don't want trees up, don't like them, don't like xmas, whatever blah blah blah. Stop attention whoaring, if you dont like xmas, dont bring the post down. Its pretty bloody obvious what the post is about. We don't need to know/don't care that you're not doing it.

If you dislike it, why tellthe world about it? Ahhh internet whoarness and loook at meeee im not conforming to the xmas happyness.

Thanks, now please leave you miserable chuffing badgers.

I'll get a shot of my lovely tree up later. Went up last night. Why? Because the poster asked for pictures of the trees, not for the miserable sods who arn't doing it.

meh meh but i must post my dislike "waves arms like little brat"

So why post in a blatenty xmas post? Go create you're own post to be depressive in.

A nice could be happy little post, but no no, that haters HAVE to have their "im a scrooge and pot a pisser on it" bit.

Honestly, this website, this could piss all over even the simplest and nicest of little things.

I work in the Christmas section in Poundland and definitely recognise some of the items what you posted! Am I right?

On a similar note working on the Christmas section has kind of killed my desire to be anywhere remotely Christmassy at the moment, so no tree for me, though the fibre optic ones are best!

We don't dislike it, it just isn't christmas yet.

I love christmas, but when every shop you go into is selling christmas gear before we've even had bonfire night it soon becomes boring, so I try not to acknowledge the fact they're selling this shit and do my best to avoid anywhere christmassy until it actually is christmas, you know those "12 days of christmas", not 12 fucking weeks.

I'm not a scrooge, nor am i putting a pisser on anything. Merely outlining my own routine. I'd be surprised if most single blokes living in a flat could be arsed to put up a tree/ have the space to do so.
