Given that this is an extremely rare event, and you know someone that it has happened to, statistically speaking it aint gonna happen to you.

Be careful though, you might get taken out by a hawk dropping a tortoise on your head....

I did wonder once if I fainted but tbh, death is a gurantee anyway, however it happens. Concentrate on doing good and enjoying life.

I often think about it as when I had a tumour on my heart I passed out once whilst in traffic on the Daytona... It was then I sold it and got checked/sorted etc.

It happens, but there is little point worrying about it. Tends to be an underlying but undiagnosed heart condition and is really rather rare.

Would be more valid to worry about getting stabbed, killed in a vehicle crash, catching meningitis, contracting STDs, alcohol poisoning etc etc. As a youngster, probably more likely to sneeze and crash than have a heart attack and crash, don't see many people afraid of sneezing.

I just Googled for "heart attack motorcycle" and ZOMFG it does happen!

I don't want to have a heart attack, so I'd better stop riding my bike immediately. Thanks for saving my life! Thumbs Up

I've had two minor heart attacks, and not once have I worried about this.
You're a kid. If you do randomly pop your heart while riding, I'm sure BCF will mourn you in the most appropriate manner.

Meh you can't do anything to prevent dying suddenly tbh. So why bother to worry about something which you cannot influence?

Hell you could have something which you don't know about either.

For instance Fran a skydiver guy I vaguely know a few months ago. He suddenly went limp in the wind tunnel at Manchester Airkix. He started bouncing off the walls. Till they turned down the fans and took him out. He'd died of a genetic condition he didn't know he had.

Oh great, just one more thing to consider whilst riding! As if I don't have enough to deal with like the d*ckhead that's tailgating me when I'm on the limit approaching a speed camera who forgets I dont need to brake to drop speed or the idiot who peals out of a side road across oncoming traffic into me (cue perfect emergency stop) or the van driver who thinks its fun to drift out to the white line to block my view every time he catches sight of me in his mirror so I can't do a clear overtake (oncoming lorries) despite the fact that he's doing 20 in a 30mph and there's absolutely nothing in front of him for at least 20-30 yards......

Sorry for your loss and all but if you were to have a heart attack or stroke whilst riding then unless it was an undiagnosed condition, genetic or otherwise, and/or extremely rare then you would in all probability have warning signs which you would hopefully take heed off and pull over.... In any event, if the worst was to happen I'd rather be riding my bike and keel over than be sitting on the toilet... Shocked
