 |
|
It has now become second nature and we all know the reasons why, yadda yadda yadda.
Would it be okay to do it on my test, or will it make me seem cocky?
Or even better will the instructor think I am experienced ____________________ Rusty '02 Vito Camper + CBR600F3 |

Blipping the throttle for smooth downshifts, sure why not. Blipping it in general like when sitting at lights... No. ____________________

No need for it on a test.
You are never out of third gear much and you should be in a 'control' situation between throttle, clutch and brakes at all times.
Better to learn to ride without Blipping.
You will always be in a more controlled state and examiners want to see that.
Not how much you learned from Terminator II.
Behave yer sel...

Blipping it is fine. I did it on mine, as well as 2 finger braking which I was told is a missive no no.
I remember on my test I pulled away from the lights fairly rapidly on my 125 (BY 125 STANDARDS) thinking to myself you have to seem confident and not like a noob only to look in my mirror and see the examinor about 50 metres behind me [/b] ____________________ CBT Passed: 30/08/2009, Theory Passed: 31/08/2010, Mod 1 Passed: 6/9/2010, Mod 2 Passed: 13/09/2010. I did clutchless upshifts and blipping on the way down during my test...
Still passed and nothing was said. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600

Its about progressive riding not aggressive riding. Get up to the speed limit of the area swiftly, not mentally, and therefore distance yourself from danger.
FAIL = Stopping close to cars at roundabouts and traffic cars. Leave bike and a bit length between their rear bumper and your front wheel.
Double press indicators after each use to ensure they are cancelled. They will allow 4-5 additional flashes but if you pass another junction with them still on its a BIGGIE to them.
UTURN - Dont watch the front wheel.. (people tend to), pull off as you have trained to and into the turn, as soon as you are approaching halfway round, start to look at where you want to finish up, and you will find it helps. ____________________ Previous Bikes: TZR125, KMX125, RGV250, RD350YPVS, GXSR750H, GSXR600SRAD, R1 (2000), GSXR1000 (K1), ZZR600, CBR1100XX Super Blackbird
