Evening all, I passed my Mod 2 today. had a few minors, but nothing I'm overly bothered about. It was very windy and the examiner offered to postpone half way round, but I thought it was a good ride and carried on. I'm very happy, as you'd imagine.

Next step, sell the CBR and go shopping! Very Happy

Thanks to all for all of the support you guys and gals have offered, and all the questions you've answered.

Nice one! Double points for soldiering on.

Do you have anything in mind yet?

Thanks all! And well done to anyone that's ever passed, it's great feeling. And good luck to everyone else. I strongly urge anyone that wants to join this club to take the next step.
I've only been on two wheels since I returned from holiday back at the end of August. I feel like I've come on a long journey since my CBT and have had to take on so much. Today, I remembered back to when I was nervous about being able to change gears and now I'm shifting without using the clutch and it feels second nature.
With regards to where to go next, I've found myself in a dilemma. For a few reasons, mainly looks, I've got a bit of a thing for an NC30. But I also have a more sensible fondness and that's for the ZZR 600. The question I keep asking myself is, 'what's more important, taking the missus on a ride of a weekend, or having fun on an NC30 (daily)?'
My choice will probably depend on how much I can get for my bike, how much I need to put towards it, and what feels right on the day. I never even sat on a big bike!
Anyway, this post is getting to long and my celebratory fast food is getting cold!
