mod 1 test question, short legs!!

Hi chaps, being of a very stumpy leg, I use the foot rest and then cock me leg over the seat to get on the bike.
Of course I hold the front brake on to make sure the bike don't move.
I am wondering would this be ok for the mod1 ect, I can touch the floor with my toes while sitting on the bike.
Just a silly question but do not want to be ragged over such a thing.

Couldn't you borrow a lower bike for the test?

It's going to be down to the examiner on the day. It's unlikely to be the first time they've seen it done, but you don't want to give them any reason to dislike the cut of your jib.

Do you have to do it, or is it just a habit that that you've gotten into? As I recall, there's only one mount, after the reverse-push (plus when you mount to ride into the test area). Can you manage without it for a couple of times? There was a great suggestion here that if you lean forwards over the tank, it helps you to get your leg up and over.

Yes I will try the extra lean on the tank thanks.
I might even get a c spanner and drop the back end a little.
