I'd go for something with hip armour. I'm glad I had mine in when I had my ice-oopsie.

How exactly are they designer? They don't look too cool to me. But something with hip protection as said, would definitely be a bonus.

Looks like the trousers I bought from GetGeared.co.uk. About the same price, but could well be chinese copies. The ones I've got are German and pretty good quality. They've got zips down both sides so are easy to put on over normal clothes.

I had some spare armour that I swapped out from my Crowtree leathers that I put into the pockets. Dunno how good they'd be in a crash though...
