i have a question.....
when it comes to roundabouts, i get confused in which lane i should be in, the inside lane...or outside?.
i try my best to avoid all roundabouts at any cost, but recently ive been needing to go over them to get to certain places....if the turning i was going to go off was the next one on the round-a-bout from mine, i would stick to the outside lane, but when it comes to turnings straight opposite me i get kinda puzzled....normally i would constantly stick to the outside lane, but intill recently i got cut up buy a car (Who in fact, shot straight in front of me at high speed, any closer she would have nocked me off, dunno if i was in the wrong or not...) so now i basically find round-a-bouts real intimidating......
ive asked many people the same question and never got a proper answer (either the asnwer was : err...dunno. or: any lane.)
any advice on using roundabouts would be great, and very much appreciated!! |

If you are in the outside lane going past "12 o'clock" people may well pull onto the roundabout in front of you, annoying when you are hanging off at high speeds...
But most roundabouts have lane indication, and I think the official advice is that anything up to and including "straight over" is outside lane, past that, inside lane merging into outside as you pass the turn off before yours.
But it also depends on the markings on the roundabout, many differ. ____________________ 04 Suzuki GSX-R 600 K4 - Sex on wheels :>
