just wondering has anyone/ know anyone who has used or is using the race down pipes because if you have ever felt the weight of the standard system it weighs quite a bit and rots like hell on the bottom collectors any help would be appreciated because i dont fancy chucking £400 at one for it to be a waste

https://tyga-performance.com/site/product_info.php?cPath=71_815_817&products_id=511

thanks all chegg

They're quite common and also quite nice. The standard down pipes aren't too bad but the end can is quite restrictive. Performance wise the tyga system won't make a massive difference over the standard one with a race can.

ive been looking for a while but had 4 nuts come loose on the rear bank and trying to put it back together took 9 hours including brew and fag breaks, the collectors are starting to get a bit rotten and not fussed about power gains to be honest its 20 now and isnt ever going to make massive power but has enough to wind up 1000s in the twisties, just thought be something nice and tarty farty to look at plus the weight saving and the end can has already been butchered for a straight piece of pipe pretty much and is rather illegal as it is until the police ask lol with it been a screamer as it is just want more noise if anything

Heard loads of good things about them, lightweight, good noise and good power. They make more power difference on an RVF though.

Keep in mind that you'll have to pay shipping and customs on top of that, Google Jap4performance, they're the official importer of Tyga stuff, and Gavin is a top guy.

I did lol at 9 hours though, what were you using, bbq tongs? Laughing it is a total pita job though.

and the nine hours included taking half the back end off then fighting trying to get the nuts onto the studs then putting it al back together and greasing the swingarm pivot and all the shock linkage plus fag and brew brakes and lots of shouting and scuffed knuckles and as for the carriage and vat id rather have it nice and shiny then try and bodge rotten collectors again plus the louder the better

I was kidding, I know its awkward if you don't have the appropriate sized hands and tools.

You can pick up a proper aftermarket system for about £150, for that you'll likely get a TSR or Ethos half system, no mild steel to rust away.

The problem with buying from Tyga direct is the extra charges you get, 400 for the system, probs 80-100 in shipping, and then customs on that (product AND shipping) so maybe £600 all in, and it'll take at least a week to arrive, it'll cost you about that from Jap4, but will take about 3 days as he has them in stock. I did look at going direct, but realised it was too much hassle for not a massive saving.

Shereen's is a cut stock system with a Tyga Maggot Paddy Thumbs Up

If you want loud, TSR systems are the way to go, my first one was a stainless stock exit, with Harpoon can, something like 106dB and my *current* SP1 style twin exit has a good deep note, even though not as loud. It needs a new sleeve after the crash, but thinking of having some custom short ones made (350mm instead of 450mm) should boost the noise level a bit Thumbs Up

Correcto! I just have the standard sytem but I was also looking at getting the full sytem, purely for the tart factor and I should gain 2-3bhp Dance!

OP Check out the link below, give them a call and speak to Gav. Thumbs Up

https://www.jap4performance.co.uk/hondaNC30.html#tyga
£490 for the full tyga system, which will probably work out cheaper that getting direct from tyga.

Also if you sign up to https://www.400greybike.com before you buy the bits you get a discounts with jap4performance as Gav is a member of this forum, just message him and ask Thumbs Up

What end can are getting/do you have for it?

EDIT: Sorry, just seen your post Billing Very Happy
