Yes. I've done it the other way round (put a D exhaust onto a C).
If it's a motad, you'll ned to put some washers under the front belly pan brackets to make it stand away a bit further or you'll melt a hole in it. This goes for either model. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Cool thanks It is a Motad at the minute, but there's not much of it worth saving On the look out for anything really. Just off to the garage to see if I can hold it together with Gun Gum for a while...
edit; Ah yeah, I've seen belly fairing with those burn on eBay. No such worry on mine though, seems to be missing that bit ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!

Sorry stinkwheel, but did you mean a D exhaust onto an A? Or is the C variant something I haven't come across yet?
Also, turns out Motad 2-1 pipes run DIRECTLY under the oil drain plug. Which kinda ruined my plan to change the oil as I didn't realise I'd need gaskets. Bugger ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!

Some have come up on eBay so I'm looking at having a punt. But... They've had the balance pipe removed. What's this going to do to the performance of the bike? Will it run badly without?
I suppose the lack of pipe could be a sign they're a bit knackered... ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!

Thanks again
They've started pretty low, and yeah I don't plan to throw too much at them, even with a few pictures and reassurances on their condition they're going to be sight unseen... ____________________ 'Allo! My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!
