First day out on the bike!!

So after all the support from everyone on here, I passed mod 1 fourth go and mod 2 first time.

You will have to excuse my excitement, but I've had a mint day!

Today I took the smokin joe's in to the city centre and boy did it turn heads!!

It sounds amazing!!, deep and throaty!

I even got my first "nod" which I returned... From a guy riding a gsxr 1000, I felt dead proud!!

So to reciprocate karma I nodded at everyone, Inc scooters and 125's.

I then arrived home after trying the smallest amount of filtering (don't like it)...

My wife then supplied me with a shopping list and sent me off to asda.

Headding along the road it was quite windy, I got my shipping and headed home...

I was hit by a gust of wind so strong it blew me over the other side of the road, so after almost soiling my new leathers I hit the side streets and headed home,

Now it's tucked up in the garage and I'm planning my day for tomorrow!

I effing love it!!!!!

Yay fantastic! Just like me - fourth time lucky on mod 1 and first time on mod 2. The weather is vile here in Scotland so my hornet is tucked up for just now Sad

There is the guy around here on the most ratty B-reg C50 you've ever seen. Always gets nods from me.

However I generally speaking don't nod at the usual Speedfight-riding trakkie-bottom wearing types. Although I occasionally make an exception in particularly poor weather.

On Topic bit: Congrats! I had to do my mod 1 a good few times too, back when they failed you for being 1kph below 50...although I only did that once.
