I currently am commuting on a ZZR600 (wicked bike). Had no problems with it at all, so mechanically sound. However I get interest free season ticket loans through work, and am thinking whether to keep current 1996 E Model ZZR600, or to part ex it and add another 2500 and get something newer.

What would you all recommend. Dont really want super sports, and wanted something easier on wrists for tackling way through traffic in London etc.

Thoughts on a postcard please.

Confused

Bloody el, London traffic a tank would be the best think. Not very economical though and I think you could loose your ncb pretty quick Police

Have you considered getting a set of genmar bar risers?

I don't see the point in changing bikes if all you're doing is commuting in london, especially if you're having to take out a loan to get another one.

Try the bar risers first. Although the ZZR really shouldn't be bad on your wrists as it's not exactly head down arse up (that's the way...)

i think he means that he doesnt want super sports, something easier on the wrists than that.

He just wants something a bit more bling than the zzr.

For London traffic, I'd suggest a scooter.

a 180cc 2 stroke gilera runner which can do 0-60 in 4.5secs

or a more economical 200cc gilera runner which is a tad slower

I've had the 2 stroke and they are great fun, and I'm thinking about getting a 4 stroke for max economy.

For something with more credibilty I'd suggest a supermoto. ie a dirtbike with sportsbike tyres
