I took my bike to lots of bits last month and put it back together again when I was fixing a few things. None of these involved the indicators in any way. Although I did have to unplug them to get the fairing off. But I can't see what would be different.

The problem is that when I indicate, the light flashes according to how much revs I'm giving it. It's acceptable to about 6,000rpm. But after that it starts to get silly. Then about 10-15krpm it's just constantly on as it's blinking so fast. It's totally useless for motorways without looking like a complete fool.

I have been told that it is probably a bad earth. Although this means nothing to me. Has anybody got any ideas I could try out?

Hi.

Sound like you've wired the indicators up to the generator instead of the battery.

Cheers.

Sounds like the voltage is increasing with revs, your regulator could be shot. Does the headlight get a lot brighter with revs too? Been popping a lot of bulbs recently?

I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles.

I haven't noticed the headlight getting dimmer/brighter. No bulbs have popped at all on the bike so far.

I'll check the headlight thing tonight. I remember my NSR done that.

Thanks for the help. I'll no doubt be back for more later. Thumbs Up
