Gurus of BCF,

What would you consider a normal amount of shagging in a long term relationship i.e. more than a few years?

Been with gf for 8 years, earlier we were debating what is considered normal after that length of time. Basically, some of her friends in long term stints get poked about 1-2 times a month, others practically never and they all consider that normal.

GF thinks our 3-4 times a week is very generous, I thought it was pretty average. Without wanting to make this a contest and whilst I appreciate every relationship is different (kids, work, etc etc), what would you all consider normal for a relationship without kids?

Anyone is welcome to chime in of course, quite interested in what the going rate is.

Few years might be a bit different, 8 years is more a comfy relationship I would assume... but I'm sure you are young (always assumed you were quite seasoned) and should be making full use of the poon most nights.

However the ex who I recently broke up with was more of a 3-4 times a week, even after a year together.
Partner of 5 years was rare, once a month and another of 2.5 years was about a week again

Me and wifey both feel disappointed if we don't get it on at least twice a week.

It used to be a lot more, even after 4 years together, but it's little harder for us nowadays as we were "morning" people and now there's a 2 year old running round the house, he's put a stop to our old morning routine.

Mrs pinky and I went from 4 times a day down to once a night before Little baby Satan arrived and put a stop to that.

Now we get it once every few weeks. This is not due to lack of willing, both myself and for some strange reason mrs pinky are willing to have a jump but Little baby Satan seems to have radar when it comes to humping time. She seems to wake up from her afternoon nap when we decide to go to bed for an hour.

By the time the evening comes and the older kids are in bed and little baby satan is sleeping we're too knackered to do anything but fall into bed and sleep.

Although we did manage a tumble today.

I find after the first 6months of a new relationship, the sex drive diminishes a fair bit. When I'm single or in a new relationship I'll happily spend every spare moment doing it. But after 6 months or so it goes quite a bit, could happily go a week or 2 without it.

This could just be due to me getting bored of the girl's I was with.... I'm sure if I found a proper dirtbag I'd stay interested for atleast 7months.
