Just a wee bit of Random Banter; hence the reason it is in this forum area.

What are you all up to today? How you all doing? Up to anything interesting on this fine Sunday morning?

Myself; I am cleaning the house as it is a fucking state.

Just lit a fire, put some clothes in the washing whilst downloading some movies and converting other movies that need converting so I can play them on my TV.

Still need to wash the dishes (lots of them), put some clothes away and tidy the spare room, then have a look at my 2 cars and see if I can sort either of their problems before it gets dark.

So all in all - a very boring day for me.

Anyone up to anything exciting?

Just had a lovely dump. Need to put a new radiator on the car, need to go shopping for food, two Xmas presents to buy, house to clean and find some money to do it all with.
Need to get washed and dressed first though.
Just had a tug too.

Going to chill as hard as I possibly can today. Probably with the aid of Skyrim.

Tomorrow, I'm getting on with my questionable dash project.

Working from home today. But having 3 monitors infront of me is starting to give me a headache.

Our lass is coming back shortly, so I'll be spending the afternoon with her, doing as little as possible. I've not yet figured out how to fit a bedsheet without getting lost inside it, so I'll let her do that.

Going into town for some last minute pressies in a minute, after which the wrapping will commence, followed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Maybe some Minecraft.

Please be aware that this is the first time I have ever done that in my life..... I do not do it on internet forums or even in text messages for that matter, the only reason that I used it on this one occassion was because I recently received a text message saying 'wuu2' on it and I never knew what the letters represented and therefore I had to ask the sender (how uncool am I?). Anyway, since the expression was fresh in my mind I thought I would use it on this sole occassion as the heading for this thread. I can assure you all that I will never use text speak or abreviations for the remainder of my BCF usage. Thank You. Wink

I am mostly avoiding the shops due to Christmas shopping frenzy, I have bought no presents, no food, no anything ready for Christmas and that's the way I like it. I will eventually mosey out late at night during the week, and get in some bits and pieces ready so I can cook next Sunday, but that's a whole week away, yet.

So yesterday I have painted my hallway and realised I need more pink paint (raspberry ruffle), but I don't want to go out in the cold to buy more painting supplies.

I also need white gloss for the doors, else I am likely to paint them with either this Bright Gold or Pewter coloured stuff.

Luckily I only have one roller and one smallish brush, and I hurt my arm reaching up to do above the doorway, so I have stopped. My domestic painting is very sporadic. I tend to get halfway round a room and then find a reason to stop.

Also I am googling "liebkuchen" to see what ingredients I need to buy. I have most of them. If Anita comes home, our Christmas Day project will be to make liebkuchen. If she doesn't, I'll make them anyway and eat them all myself Smile

I've had the dogs out for a walk, then my mate came round and helped me to put all my furniture in the van, ready for the carpet fitters to come in the morning. Been to the tip with the old underlay and used the old carpet for the garage.
I thought I'd actually finished decorating, but it would seem there's been a vote, (I wasn't present) and it's been decided three to one, (Mrs D and the two greyhounds against me). That the bedrooms need to be done also.

Bugger.

Just got up, but I'm going to re fit my recently retrieved Optimate to my FZR 400 to protect the new battery, and probably sit at home and play some computer games.

But first, I'm going to have a bath.

Went out last night so nursing a hangover, also have about £10 worth of change in my pockets so going to spend it in the self service till at tesco on pizza and soft drinks.
Light the wood burner find a decent thread on adv rider, read lots of pages whilst warming feet near wood burner and eating crap food.
Good Sunday Cool
Going round to my Mum's for roast dinner this evening, going to take the vespa in the icey conditions as I feel like a challenge.
Will probably update facebook status at least 10 times over the day about the currant state of my hangover as that seems to be a trendy thing to do.
I forgot to upload drunken pictures and check in to cool bars and clubs throughout the night tagging my many friends so I kinda suck at being hip on facebook so far though.

Im dribbling because the smell of roast leg of lamb in the oven is reaching my nostrils. After I stop dribbling I will eat aforementioned leg of lamb with the usual roast gubbins and then I must depart to work.

Cooked breakfast for the family, greased some stuff that needs greasing, did some more prodding at the C3 of Perpetual Fail, am currently exercising the cats with a laser pointer, will be taking the kids swimming later, cooking dinner (sheep does sound good) then the wife will likely need some servicing tonight.

Quickly wrapped a present before some old friends came 'round.
Feeling happy....beautiful people that they are...and my mate's got his Mojo back and just performed 4 new songs.

Front room is a bombsite with a Vizzy in bits (footboard doubles as an occasional table) So i'll be getting my warm clobber on after posting this and make some room in the shed for it. Dog walking will be done in the dark.

Wait for my g/f to get back and see what happens from there, but need to nip out later to set-up a mates turntable.

Nice day so far and no work till next year.
I predict lots of spannering and lots of music making but not much biking.
