I doubt it was done on purpose.

I don't see how it could of been done accidentally? If anyone follows that link and purchases said item the OP will receive a commission.

Sounds like SPAM to me.

It's not spam.

Google 'get geared' then search the site for heated gloves.
Copy the link and post it here.

https://www.getgeared.co.uk/GERBING_12V_Hybrid_Motorcycle_Gloves

It all goes via
https://scripts.affiliatefuture.com/afncsecureclick.aspx?merchantID=578&cguid=5c9920bd-3ecf-46e9-94c5-76a84275ce00&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.getgeared.co.uk%2FGERBING_12V_Hybrid_Motorcycle_Gloves

Apologies if I've got it wrong but...

The link that the OP has posted goes through affiliatefutures.com, but with an affiliate ID of 125272, whereas the affiliatefutures.com url you have posted doesn't have an affiliate ID?

I maybe wrong, but I'd still say that anything bought by people clicking the link in the OP will trigger a commission payment. Perhaps the OP could clear it up?

Microwire as in small wires, not big chunky wires.

Microwaving yourself would NOT be a good idea. As for microprocessor control, that would be completely pointless.

I think microwaveable gloves would be a good idea.

You can get microwavable handwarmers that you put in the microwave to heat up and they stay warm. I cant remember whats in them but it may be wheat or something

depends on your commute, they'd be perfect for me 30mins of warmth within muffs so they wouldnt cool down too quick

at the moment i use woollen gloves inside winter motorbike gloves inside muffs

I think it would be possible to microwave most motorcycle gloves at least once.

I've been designing something in my spare time for a couple months now, the problem you have with this type of product is flexibility versus durability in materials.

Yes they're no good for that very reason. To maintain warm hands for longer jaunts I simply slip my hands into a pair of Pop-Tarts before I set off.

I have (had) the Gerbing G3 heated gloves.

I tried everything before them. Absolutely everything. (even the old Deepheat all over your hands then into some plastic gloves before going in your main ones trick - worked quite well surprisingly).

However, nothing beats these gloves. Ever. They are fucking amazing. On the coldest day, at motorway speeds, with windchill of bloody -60 degrees, these gloves kept my hands toasty warm.

The microwire is incredibly flexible, and you wouldnt even know they were there, and they are guaranteed for life against failure.

Honestly, I bought these when I was skint, and they are amazing. You can pick up some G3s for £100. I'd already spent that much on different gloves and muffs etc. tyring to keep warm. I know some people have invested in that much in heated grips!

I would thoroughly recommend these.

Ahh... but only if you paid the extra $$$ for the Utility Room option rather than the Conditioning Room/Hot Tub.

I think you'll fin McDonalds apple pies are much superior to a pop tart for both initial heat and longevity.... Wink
