I am looking to get into motocross and need to gain experience but at the same time want a bike that, if I hang onto it, will be competitive when I have honed my riding skills. I was thinking Kawasaki KX250 but being a novice I would really appreciate input from more experienced riders

Thanks for that, my Brother in law had a KTM a few years ago and loved it. I don't know what it is about the kwacker that appeals to me but from what you've said, I can't go far wrong with one, Cheers

I think unless you a Good size guy the 250 2 Stroke will be abit to much for you
I started off with a CR250 But i was Nr 18stone
If i was you go with the KXF250 2006ish as it has the Ally frame and goes Very well My Bro has one
