After all the reviews and people saying it could be one of the best films of the year I thought I'd watch it today....

I wasted 2 hours of my life. Apart from a couple of car chases it was shite and it was so slow that even in fast forward it was slow Laughing

I though it was brilliant, very different from what I thought it would be. The car scenes were more realistic than the likes of Fast and Furious, the violence was brief but shocking, camera angles were interesting etc. Each to their own I guess Thumbs Up

I thought it wasn't that great either, quite slow. The start of it was quite good but just seemed to drag for most of it.

I miss the days of film where very little happens during a scene.
Even in action films, such as Mad Max. Some scenes there was very little going on, sometimes no soundtrack...still makes an big impression.
With digital editing now and the way things are, it seems like film makers feel every minute counts and something needs to be going on, regardless of whether it needs it.

I went to cinema to see this and came out very disappointed as the trailer and the hype made it out to be a car chase action movie but I was left hoping it would end soon!

The only other film I saw this year that I hated was Scott Pilgrim vs the world, god that dragged!
