Hi all,

I'm in need of a new front tyre at the moment and cash is a bit short.

Only just recently had the back changed so going with same make/model tyre as ive put on there.

I've noticed that the 120/60's are cheaper than what i have on currently (120/70), main question is what are the differences in the 120/60 to the 120/70 when on the bike in terms of handling, feel etc.

Slightly smaller sidewall, could possibly cause a more rounded profile.
I wouldn't mind doing that personally, my rears change from 180 55 17 to 190 50 17 to 190 55 17... I vary a lot and haven't felt much difference.

It should turn in a bit quicker. Some R6's (cant remember which years) were fitted with 120/60's, a lot of peaople fit 120/70's to make the handling a touch more stable.
Thumbs Up

Cheers for the responses guys.

I will get the 120/60 then, see what its like to live with. If I don't get on with it I can always go back to a 120/70 when it wears out.
