... that loves riding in the rain?

Seriously.

I had to do a 30 mile round trip today to pick up some last minute Christmas shopping and I hit the rain about 10 minutes into my ride.

It's then that I realised that I absolutely LOVE riding in the wet stuff. I as warm enough with my waterproofs on and just felt really comfortable battling down the motorway getting completely drenched.

I guess I'm just weird....

waterproof trousers only here.. my textiles are amazing in the wet.. my jacket on the otherhand is terrible.

If I'm out it in it with the right gear on I find it quite relaxing. I used to ride my CBR6 with a one piece Hein Gericke oversuit and some pathan gloves so I was practically watertight. The sound of the rain on my lid and the rain on my visor made me feel quite placid.

Being out in a one piece race suit when it decides to chuck it down is suprisingly quite the opposite of that however

I essentially only commute on the bike when it's tipping it down. If it's nicer, I'll pedal or walk. The "Didn't you get soaked?" mooing from the office slack-jaws never gets old.

I'm just contemplating a ride in the rain atm. Have a car but I dont want to sit in traffic. The only downers I find are the occasional skid across a manhole cover and the obscured visor.

I find there is something oddly satisfying about being out in rain on the bike - the heavier the better.

Drizzle sucks though

Rain I don't mind at all, I can even live with the wetness. It's just that feeling of when the cold finallyyyy breaks through I hate.

I ride all year so it doesn't bother me either way much, I'd still ride in a downpour if I really had to. But of course, I'd easily trade it in for a sunny warm day.

Don't like it when it's raining, as i prefer visor open, but drizzly and wet is pretty cool in the challeging stakes, much more hairy and you soon learn more.

Foggy visor isn't much fun, apart from that i don't mind rain.
I take more care as I find cars don't look at junctions as much plus if the side windows are misted up it's worse.
It's the gales I don't like at all.

I quite like it too - the textiles keep me nice, dry and warm. The same can't be said for my summer gloves, but the winter ones are rather good

The only part I hate about it is when it becomes that kind of rain where your left hand practically turns into a window-wiper for your visor

Definately not for me, I hate it visor mists up open to clear it rain is like bee stings on the face plus I have to back off by at least 50-60% round corners
