Not really, I guess there is plenty that is out of your control, IE idiots on the road.

I take it you've had tuition? IE Your aware of all the required observations when doing various things like turning?

Best of luck Thumbs Up

I did my test on my NSR without the restriction being mentioned. They did have posters up about how they will ask for proof of restriction, but only on the RS125 and the Mito.

Locked up the back brake on the test and got a major. Rest of the run was perfect with only a minor for leaving a indicator on too long after a junction. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR next test is the 30th. Dammit i cant wait!!!!!

No they were bone dry. I applied pressureto both front and back brakes and the rear locked up slghty. The examiner then at the end of the tes tsays to me " On a day like this the front brake only would of done".

Also try applying the back brake slightly before the front and then progressively more front.

The weight of the bike travels forward onto the forks under braking making the backend go light, this can make it easier to lock the rear wheel. Applying the back brake slightly before the front helps keep some more of the weight over the back wheel.

Most modern bikes have very good front brakes, these combined with modern tyres will provide more than enough stopping power for most situations.

I personally only use the back for stability when cornering/slow control/ times when I only need to scrub off a small amount of speed, etc.

Good luck with the next test. Remember if you do lock it up, release and reapply. Thumbs Up
