Okay, I'm looking for a (very) reasonably priced bluetooth helmet and have found the following :
Viper RS-V131 £150
Viper RS-V99 £100
Duchinni D619 £100

Has anyone got or used any of these?
Are they any good?
I'll be mainly using it for my commute to and from work none of which involves NSL areas so noise at high speed isn't really an issue.

I would do that normally, but I'll be buying them online and there are only a couple of bike shops round here :/

Personally don't trust flip front helmets... i've got a viper RS-44 and i think it's a great lid... fits the same as the box lid i had a while ago.

you'd really be better finding one in a shop and trying it on, then ordering it online.

Better safe than sorry and all that. i wouldn't want to be worrying every time i go out on the bike.

Usually what I do with the majority of my bike kit Thumbs Up

As for the lids, I have the Duchinni D419 (the full face, non-bluetooth version of the D619), and yes it fits me really well...
I'd happily have another one - but I have no idea if your head is the same size and shape as mine Embarassed There's no real substitute for trying one on

Might be worth getting a bluetooth kit instead, that way you get the helmet you want rather than having to choose from a tiny selection.

Duchinni D619 - do not get, i bought one for £90 two months ago, leaks water through the visor and flip front as soon as it rains, i find it rather noisy and the flip front is as flimsy as anything.

Thanks for the replies Smile
I think I'll have to have a drive out to somewhere that has a few more bike shops and try some on.

I've usually preferred flip fronts due to me wearing glasses.
Sizing's a bit strange though... A medium flip front fits fine whereas a medium 'normal' one is much too tight... Unless I've not tried enough on yet Very Happy

If it helps, Viper has always been the same as V-Can helmets in every way for me. Style, shape, fit, range, price, use in Aeriel combat maneuvers.

Im guessing the same factory make them.
