What would you guys advise? was looking into bar end mirrors as im not to keen on the look of the ones on the bros, and the left one gets blown in a little at around 60mph. ____________________ GOOD GAME BODYGUARD: https://i.imgur.com/8WePGgf.jpg

Not a big fan of bar end mirrors to be honest. I'm not too keen on the look of them, and getting in and out of my garage would probably involve knocking them out of position on a regular basis ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

I hate the look of Bar-End mirrors, my friend has them on his Bandit. They got completely mashed when he had an off. Just go for a nice set of regular mirrors. ____________________ CBT Passed - 22 / 10 / 11 >> Theory Passed - 16 / 02 / 2012 >> Mod 1 Passed - 07 / 03 / 2012 >> Mod 2 Passed - 18 / 05 / 2012. |

Disagree .. esp if you a bit of a wide load, Oberon knock offs for 15 quid or so from HK via fleabay ...
Just like originals bar the fittings will need replacing with A2 stainless steel.

Your tribute to Simoncelli ....and you rest your ballsack on it.
Suppose bar end mirrors have their practical uses, especially on a bike with narrow clip-ons found on cafe racers....and as mentioned, wide loads. ____________________ Diabolical homemade music Bandcamp and Soundcloud

Sicos sticker stayed on my ballsack for 2 weeks ..
Those mirrors posted above are the same as the Motrax ones i paid 30 quid for ! before i would trust / gamble on HK stuff, scared off before by chinese threads on here etc ...
They are good, but don't bend in enough and are bigger. If you want to filter easier, get in and out of shed etc and want ones that look better and are effectivly micro mirrors, then the oberon rip offs are the ones, exact copys bar the fittings, of oberons 80 quid ones.

See, they look good on a bike like that, but there would be no point what so ever putting bar-end mirrors on a Bros. By the way, love the colour of that thing too ____________________ CBT Passed - 22 / 10 / 11 >> Theory Passed - 16 / 02 / 2012 >> Mod 1 Passed - 07 / 03 / 2012 >> Mod 2 Passed - 18 / 05 / 2012. |

Depends on your taste I guess. Remember they will slightly alter the width of your handlebars, so worth noting next time you filter through traffic after fitting them. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Thats why i got mine, they are not much wider in reality than bar end weights, so much easier getting in and out of house and through gates, filtering.
If i was not so ' wide ' i would stick to normal ones.
Also, perfecting the wiggle teknique helps LOTS !

I can't see past me shoulders with normal mirrors on ye-olde Honda H100, but the ones I have been looking at cost £70 a pair!
No point in doubling the value of the bike just for the sake of being able to see where I've just been... I have yet to overtake anything, though filtering may just be possible with a force 8 following wind on a slope that would make most ski-jumpers weap with joy

The ones in pic on me bike cost about 16 quid del .... silver or black ....
I too was not prepared to pay 80 quid for ' real ' oberons, knowing that i'm likely to break them anytime soon ... ____________________ Jogging on, destination living. |
