I want to pimp my garage up a little, nothing too crazy.
I think I'm going to paint the floor or possible use some of those rubber tile things if they aren't too expensive.
The walls are just bare brick, I did think about plaster boarding them but this would work out too much hassle as I'd need to get somebody to plaster/joint them. So I'm looking at trying to get hold of some kind of cladding/partition panels to fix straight to the wall like they use in race team pits.

Do race teams ever sell off their old boards as surely they must need to replace them with new team colours and sponsors? Or does anybody know of a suitable type of board that I could buy?

I might still paint the walls but I though it might look a bit nicer with some kind cladding rather then just a painted brick wall. Will use light paint/boarding on walls and also going to upgrade lighting.

Agreed, seal/paint floor and then paint directly to brick. Chuck up a load of posters on the walls to make it less bland, I like to fix lengths of carpet at knee-waist height so you don't smack things off the walls like tools, panels etc or catch them when you park.

Leaving the walls open allows fitting of shelves/ hooks for storage too if you need it.

If you can get hold of some of the metals bits on the wall like in the picture couldn't you just use those to cover the gaps in the plaster board? Would provide a bit of insulation as well.
