I've got to pump fuel <<UP>> to (4) CV carbs and am wondering if the vacuum line that normally operates a pepcock could be used for a fuel pump, or if the vacuum line is a constant vacuum (Can't be used to regulate fuel flow).

Any CV carb experts out there?

Hi

Yes I think it can be used to operate a fuel pump. This is how the vacuum pump on the Divvy is plumbed in basically.

However I would advise against it. The vaccum pump is rubbish at low revs and if you are not quick switching to reserve then you have a good chance of killing the battery before you pump the fuel back through to the carbs.

All the best

Keith
