So I've just had my first off on a recently bought Suzuki gs500.
Was only a slow one maybe 15-20mph sliding on the left hand side.
I managed to ride it home alright after a quick look over so hoping its not too bad.
Basically just need some advice on what to check to make sure it's fine.
So far noticed the clutch lever is bent more than I thought was possible, the bar end has fallen off and a bit of the rear fairing has cracked. Obviously will be replacing thes but any advice would be appreciated on what else to do.
Cheers,
Sam

Check the front wheel against the forks/frame and check its all straight. My GS went down at about 30-40mph and bent the forks.

+1 to Paddy

Also check for any slight leaks, the GS's aren't the strongest bikes. Came off mine at around 10MPH and completely snapped my Clutch lever, Mirror and damaged my clutch switch. If you look on fleabay you can pick up a clutch lever for around £5, bar ends are cheap and you can probably get a rear fairing from a breakers for ~£20.
