Hi all, came home this morning to find an empty space outside my house where my bike should have been... First thought was I left it at a mates last night but that is not the case. It has been stolen so please anyone in Southampton who see's a Rieju RS2 sports rep in black missing the front mudguard, a chain which is ready to fall off, And Oxford heated grips. Also may still be there I stuck a BASC sticker on the inside of the screen, Its a green and white sticker which will be difficult to see. Also the right and side fork seal is leaking. Reg HF60 FXG. If anyone see's it feel free to put the scum on their ass and inform the police or myself. Any help greatly appreciated thanks. Pic attached to give general idea. Its currently covered in mud and road grime. Yes a wreck basically which is why it was sat outside for a few days waiting for me to give it a good spruce up and service. Its a death trap at the moment Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Just noticed, the front brake caliper in the picture is different, the one on mine is red not gold.

Unlucky on it being stolen... but how can it be in such a state when it's 1 year old?!

Because I have ridden it over 20,000 miles! Every 4 months the bike is overhauled cleaned and any broken or worn parts replaced, that was the plan tomorrow.

Been out on the hunt for 3 hours, been round the estates, still no sign. I will not give up though. I have told half the bloody population of southampton that its stolen and I will find the culprit. I trust that it wont be long before someone hears something. I will keep this thread updated.

Pinged it around my Hampshire based biker buddies...see if they see anything for you.

It might be worth you having a good look around your area, and also up to Lordshill for a wee mooch...I used to see a few burnt out cars up on the common there (alongside the Romsey Rd).

I hated the fact I had to drive 30mins to collect my bike from it's cushy carpeted garage in a cul-de-sac in Hedge End, back in the day...

But parking my pride and joy in the streets of Southampton was something I wasn't prepared to chance. Grotty place to live if you ask me. I won't be going back.

Eyes in west London if it ever makes it this far too!

Thanks, I see you have the same bike.. I wished similar things upon them and warned the police that I hope they found them first, the police woman was very understanding of that Very Happy Twisted Evil I could not care less about getting the bike back as I would be selling it in a couple of weeks. I am more fussed about finding the scrotes that steal peoples bikes unfortunately I have come across a few which I know to be bike thieves and have "questioned" them but I believed them when they said they had no idea and promised to tell me if it came their way (that part i dont believe!) Ah well the hunt is still on, will go out searching a little bit later on. I have heard rumours of a burnt out bike near here so will have a look. God help them if it is mine and has been torched... Evil or Very Mad

Doesn't say how loud the alarms are. I have two Xena disc lock alarms which are supposedly 110db. But I still would be hard pressed to hear 'em. They don't look too great to be honest.

Just spotted this thread. Had a guy knock on our front door at 3am then when he got no answer he proceeded to try and remove the cover from my housemate's bike. Luckily it has a decent alarm and the guy legged it.

We're in Bassett, Southampton. Bloody scum.

Love it to bits but its become a target scince A) I encountered a scammer on the road and B) The RS3 achieved some fame and suddenly Rieju was a semi known brand.

I swear I had that thing a year with no issues then suddenly... *Sighs*
