Personally I'd be ignoring the bays and putting my bike up against the window anyway........ if I can put a bollard between me and the dozy car driver who may knock it over that suits me just fine!

Yes, I can see at least tens if not hundreds of motorcyclists were obviously seriously inconvenienced by these selfish actions!

I often park the bike in places I shouldn't, but don't actually inconvenience anyone and am fine with getting away with it (as we can reasonably say is the case here).

I think this is a rather good example of why many dislike 'vbloggers'.

While it does kinda get my back up people park anywhere...but I park on a private road owned by a company who to be fair are pretty decent and let us park 3 or 4 bikes there.

I don't see the novelty of talking to yourself whilst riding, it seems overly gay. See Jamey for an example.

I've got a camera, but its purely for recording knob like antics, not criticising other motorists Laughing

Where's the sound towards the end of the video? Or is it just me?

I cut the sound from the end of the video - I wasn't saying anything so the only sound is the unlocking of the car and then it moves off.

It was only by chance that I had it recording at all - a run to the shops doesn't warrant it under normal circumstances!

I don't see TOO much of a problem. She was obviously only gone for a minute or two at most and she left a motorcycle bay open. The chances of more than 1 motobike coming in that short time is very small.

I'd be more bothered about parking my bike behind the car in the bay behind her, then her not seeing it and backing into it.

I'd never do it myself but I wouldn't be pissed off if someone else did it.

I hate it when people do that. Some people like to believe they have special privileges and can park wherever they like (such as in front of my drive like some nobs do).

As for vloggers, i dont see why everyone hates them so much. I follow quite a few motorbike vloggers and i really enjoy most of them. of course most of them only upload a video when its complaining about something Rolling Eyes

Why did you park directly behind the car though? seems a bit stupid, incase the driver came back in a hurry and reversed over it without noticing it.

To be fair that didn't anger me too much. I wouldn't have used the parking bays anyway. I park at the shop window like G does.

One thing that drives me mental is people who think it is ok to use disabled spaces when they quite clearly don't have a disability. I'd shoot the lot of them.

Although I mind my dad once going "look at this bastard here taking the disabled space when he can walk fine". The man proceeded to help his para wife into her wheelchair. Embarassed

What if she had parked in a disabled bay and you were disabled and couldnt park?

Im sure people would have something to say then.

I have to agree with the OP the bay is reserved for motorcycles so she shouldnt have parked there.

Stupid BITCH!! Laughing

It annoys me more that some people seem to believe they have special privileges to criticise other road users, when they're usually guilty of breaking the law themselves.

That's precisely the reason I hate Vloggers, because they ONLY upload when they have something to get cross about. It's like the youtube equivalent of the Daily Mail. They exist to get angry and try to make others angry.

Life is to short for such things. If I ever end up posting videos of minor parking infringements in a serious manor, please put something in my tea.

A lot of pompous tossers got on the band wagon to express their oh so important opinions or name and shame when they have no real right to be taking the moral high ground etc bit of a shame really because I do like watching some videos of good routes and ride outs without hearing a lecture, some others are still quite good i.e. Imanupstart and Fragmasterkarl for teh wheelie and supermoto vids.

Hhhm, I think you're right there. The only ones I've come across thus far have been of the pompous type, I'll check out the ones you mention and see if I can be less jaded. Thumbs Up

EDIT-

Imanupstart has closed his account. FragmasterKarl = proper. J'approve.

I, too, would like to hear what was said towards the end of the video. You were clearly upset enough to want to hang around for the car owner to return and have it out with them/shame them but for some unknown reason you have decided to remove the audio. It appears to me that you were gesticulating with your hands and probably remonstrating with the female driver (would you have behaved in the same way if the driver had been a male?) and the driver is quite clearly responding to your actions. In spite of what you have said about there being nothing on the tape other than the sound of the car being unlocked and driven away, I would still like to hear it for myself.
I can only surmise that you are too embarrassed to let us hear the full audio recording.

Really? it looks to me like shes calling you a faggot or something at the end of the vid - your looking at her and shes looking at you and shes definetly mouthing the words faggot while making eye contact with you Thinking
What I think really happened is the woman was literally gone for a few seconds maybe to a cash machine or something so no real problem - you come blazing in with your "I am holier than you" Vlogger horn then look like a bit of a tw@t when you realise shes already on her way back to the car - she proceeds to call you a faggot etc hence you cut the sound out at the end...

Surprised Razz

You're my new hero - go you!

You really told her off there, I bet she felt really bad after you gave her a couple of sideways glances and then left it at that. She'll know not to fuck with bikers again.

Thumbs Up

p.s. - Can i have those 49 seconds of my life that I wasted on your video back please?

Because most either
A. Point out bad driving on the road with number plates, even though their driving/riding is substandard and then try to be all high and mighty.

B. Express their views on how everyone is a prick, when that person being a prick has no impact on their life or current situation on the road, like "prick on mobile phone at traffic lights, I was filtering past this prick and saw him on his mobile, must inform everyone I am superior because I am not on the phone, yet I am thinking of things to say to people whilst riding.

C. Has a video like the O/Ps "This is me riding to the Spar to buy this months MCN so I can gain all their knowledge on their perfectly correct and accurate stories, now I am going around a left hand bend, now a right hand bend, I usually indicate here and then filter her.......5 minutes later, this is where I look at the vast array of sandwhiches for sale in the Spar"

D. Always have an opinion they NEED to get across, and MUST get across to everyone to show how up my own bunghole I am and if they don't agree with me, I will keyboard them to death.

Vloggers are like Apple users of the road, massive pretentious twats who need to let everybody know what they are doing and what they have and why they are doing and when they are doing it, I honestly don't care how you ride to work, what time you ride to work, who has been a prick on your route blah blah blah.

Vloggers in the pub are the ones with the latest and still not very good Iphone who shove it in your face going "look, see what I can do, I am updating Facebook and telling people I am in the pub with you, and now I am tweeting, and digging it, look my Iphone can now send picture messages, you're not looking *as they push the Iphone into your skull* oh hang on a minute, one of my 9000 friends has updated and checked in at some homosex locations"

Complete gammon slippers, and O/P just for you I am going to go and park my bike in a car space, and inconvinience a car, I hope some car Vlogger see's me and has a go at me Rolling Eyes
