CBR 600 F new chain

Just putting this out there for opinions; need a new chain and sprocket for my CBR 600 F (1998). Going to order one online,questions are -

X or O ring? (not sure on difference)
Black, gold or silver chain? (is there a difference?)
I plan on buying a DID one unless anyone suggests other brand

DID make good chains - X ring is supposed to be better than O ring but the most important thing is that you look after your chain once it's on the bike.

I'm about to go for a new chain and it will probably be a DID x-ring VM chain. I've had these on a few dirt bikes and they stood up to abuse well.

+1 DID x-ring VM chain, i got the gold one as gold doesnt rust and i could afford the extra few £
