Advise please

All the bullshit aside, I do really need advise.

Basically, my (now) ex text me yesterday saying "Stop texting my missus or I will come and kill you" (That was put politely).

I text back saying "Fair does, give me my clothes and stuff back and I will not text her again."

No reply

Decided to text her mum, and asked politely if I could come round at a certain time, pick my stuff up and then her's and my ex's number would be deleted and they would not hear from me again.
I picked my stuff up, had a nice like conversation with her dad, he basically told me that they had thrown her out for getting back with him. He also told me that him and his mates are all mouth no bawls.

I left the house, and text her saying that I had picked my things up, and thankyou for the good times we had together, and sorry how it turned out.

Now I am getting threats from different numbers to kill me.
I have replied to them saying I will be at such and such at a certain time, every night. So they can find me there.

Should I go to the police?
What would you do?
I have substantial evidence that they are threatening me, and wanting to kill me.

Only came back here because there is a mix of mentals and sensible people.

Need to decided a plan of action.

Your mistake is in responding, staying in contact.

Ignore the past and the people in it, put it down to experience, don't try and "be" anything ("being nice" or polite is pointless, and being nasty would just be stupid) ... then just move on and find new people.

Its nice that her parents gave you the chance to get your things, but you should try and avoid discussing or involving parents or family after a split: its just uncomfortable for them, they might like you very much but they have to be loyal to their family.

Your things (clothes, tools, whatever) are just that: just "things" - you can always buy new ones and start again.

Mobile chips are cheap. Free, even.
Get one, give it only to those who need it.

If the threats keep coming, then get another two.
Give one to the people you trust.
And one to the people you think might be leaking it to the threateners.
Find out who your friends REALLY are.

Just seen about 5 of them off down my street.

Got a call saying they were coming for me, and decide to take the attention away from my house.

Got sore ribs and the such like, but board boots and not backing down sorted them.
