You won't be able to ride it on the road, only on a patch of private land which does have any access to "the public highway".

If you do want to ride it on the road you'll have to class it as a moped and get it taxed, MOTd and get it checked by the DVLA that it's road worthy. I don't remember what this process is called though.

These were popular in the late 50's and early 60's and there were many variations (Cyclomotors).

You would need to go through the 'SVA' process to use this on a UK road!

It would be more fun to attach it to the front wheel of something like a PC50.

I suspect it'd be a lot easier if it came with the numberplate (as some do I think.)

As it is, you are, I would guess, in the same position as one of the cheap kits from ebay.

If you want a powered front wheel on a bicycle, I'd just for an electric conversion - much less hassle, less legal worries etc.
