Hi

As said, B&Q or other DIY specialists. I usually buy it from the local Garden centre.

All the best

Three garages nearest to me sell paraffin - 4 litre plastic bottles. They keep it outside in a locked cage affair together with bags of charcoal/ coal/ firewood and later in the year gas bottles..

I was looking just last week for exactly the same thing. I considered Halfords and Homebase but happened to be passing my local hardware shop and thought I'd try my luck. Ok, it was £7.00 for a big plastic bottle but I always try and support my local trades rather than the faceless mega-chains.

It cleans up your chain and sprockets a treat. Do try to keep it out of your drum brake if you're lucky enough to have one of those...

Try an old fashioned little hardware store, some of those still sell paraffin 'loose'.

The majority of petrol stations in my area stock it in the shop.
How about a garden center?

Probably hidden outside in the garden section (was when I needed some locally).

All the best

Paraffin is the UK name for Kerosene. Central heating oil is 28 sec Kerosene, also known as Industrial Paraffin. If you have oil central heating then just dip some from your tank, at current price of around 70p a litre it's much cheaper than buying the same stuff at a hardware shop.
