i have just bought a ktm exc 200. the premix i have been told to use is 40:1 which is 25mls per liter

what i want to know how to work out 40:1 to get 25ml per liter

you want to know how the figure of 25ml comes up with 40:1 ratio?

Simples 1000ml (ie 1 Litre) / 40 = 25ml?

The go to the supermarket and buy a measuring jug or flask.

If your tank holds 10 litres then you 10 x 25ml = 250ml or in other words a 1/4 of litre of oil.

Basically a quarter of a 1L bottle!
