Compare Insurance sites and bike mods

Been doing some thinking.

I've been riding round with undeclared mods (bars, pipes, intake) because they were on when I got it.

But how could I declare mods if the compare site pushed the quote and policy through without ever raising the question of modifications?

It wouldn't have 'pushed the quote through' without giving you the option to declare any modifications etc. I don't quite get what you are asking but ultimately it falls to you to ensure you are covered correctly, not a comparison site.
