Over the past week I've had three people (all women ) go to change lanes without indicating or even checking their mirrors as I'm filtering through traffic, when they eventually do see me, they slam their anchors on half way through the manoeuver causing me to brake hard. All three of the cheeky fuckers also gave me a bunch of abuse because they didn't see me. Why am I on the receiving end of so much anger this week?

I've had 2 cars...BMWs unsurprisingly... who think its ok to flash me to get me to move over from the outside lane so they can fly past.

I happen to be overtaking too So cant just pull back in, they then proceed to be absolute knobs when it comes to filtering past them when they decide to undertake you.

I was in my car one day and needed to switch lanes to the offside to avoid a broken down lorry.
I saw the bike in my mirrors, but he was way way back, so I signalled and pulled out, and next thing this guys up my chuff, then goes past giving me the wanker sign.
The speed limit on the road is 40, which I was doing, and for the guy to have come from that far back so quickly, meant he really tanking it.
Common sense and forward observation by that rider would have quickly determined that the parked lorry was a hazard that other vehicles were going to have to drive past, and maybe that wasn't the best time to nail it like a bat out of hell.
Anyway I forgot about it till 5 minutes later, when I saw him again, this time pulled over by plod.

I hear that bro. Yesterday I nearly had an off because some bloody old woman decided to pull out of a blind junction infront of me without and headlights on (bearing in mind, it was dark), and she barely stopped. I was probably about an inch or two from going over her bonnet. She didn't even acknowledge me as I rode past blaring the horn and giving her the middle finger. I was absolutely fuming

Road rage is a funny thing, people's reaction to an incident is usually the cause of the rage rather than the original incident itself.
All it takes is a wave from the person who f'cked up and the situation is invariably defused. As said above, when someone f'cks up they usually get aggressive which causes it all to flare up, people need to learn to say sorry!

I often find it's the women who perceive that they are in the right even if they clearly are not. As I cast my mind back a year or so,

I was riding down the road, there was a car parked on the left facing oncoming. As I was very close, the car started to pull out (no other parked cars around- but plenty driving) and indeed I had to swerve around her and beep the horn. I then recall the cheek of hearing an occupant in the car yell a sinful word in my direction.


Also, just sit in your car in a supermarket car park. The amount of abuse that comes out most of the mouths of women at people parking or emerging is extremely vicious.
