ive come into owning a gpz 750, cost me £150 and a rucksack (which also cost £110)

now its 1987, its in very good condition new air filter,sprocket chain,new carbs,new oil filter...fairings are in quite good condition considering some look near new the front mud guard has some paint chips on.....

its not the turbo version!

it has 30k on the clock and has being garaged in the last 3 years and very well looked after got tons of receipts ect...whats this bike really worth?

i was thinking around the £1000 mark ?

Air-cooled GPz750, or water-cooled GPZ750R?
GPz750, if in decent fettle, £400-£1200 ish, only a minter, being worth top book.
Watercooled GPZ750R, £250-£600. Its only worth 'hack-bike' money; so top figure is for something 'good' and roadable. it will be a grey-import, UK Got 600R & 900R; 750 was mainly for the US market. Based on the 900, it doesn't share much interchangeability; was a 'cheapo' substitute for a 900R fifteen years ago, when they still fetched good money; Now they dont, and you can get a good 900R for a grand, 750R is almost worthless.

Yes I suppose if its a tidy, clean, unmolested example it may fetch that if you get the interest from someone who really wants one.

I paid £500 for a 77 sohc cb750 which was in pretty good nick, though I've seen people asking (and getting) up to 3k for the exact same machine in varying states. Shows how much variation there is.

I've seen the Obrut's go for 4k upward! Silly money I suppose given they apparently weren't that great!

I paid £600 for a very tidy GPz750R watercooled bike a couple of years ago.

I do wonder how ou can advertise these bikes as good this and that when you have verry little mechanical knowlage and dont hold a full liscence if i recall corectly .... so you cant ride them and have no clue about bikes ... lmao perfect buisness!

Paid £350 for an '86 cleaned n serviced it sold for £750.

The UK did get the 750R for a while. Not that many people bought them
