Centre stand pin seized

I'm putting a new centre stand on the CG and when it's come to taking the old one off and getting the pin out it'd seem its rusted solid. The caveman method isn't getting it budged whatsoever. Any suggestions?

Try a blow torch, heat up the area & use alot of brute force & ignorance.

Pin is a thin steel tube & almost an interference fit in the stand.
They are nie on impossible to remove without destroying either pin or stand; though you may try!
If you are handy with the old angry grinder, you can try grinding side on through the old stand, ie: grind parallell to the pin, and try and open up a 'land' of netal through the stand, without cutting up the pin too much, then with hammer and chissel try peeling the stand off the pin; though throuble will be the thicker plates at the end of the stand tube. BUT having released most metal from major length of the pin, and made an opening, you MIGHT be able to get some penetrating oil in there to be able to hammer the pin out RELETIVELY intact...
Personally I have never had the patience.
CD200 foot-peg brackets have a side stand and bolt on small Honda sumps.... if the pegs are in the wrong place, you can grind them off the bracket!
