.... I'm not posting this to be judged, I am asking a serious question.... although I can explain if I really need to.

But Late November I was stopped by the police after having one drink too many (literally), I have been to court and even though I had mitigating circumstances, I still received the obligatory year ban.

Now I'll get my license back next January, and since I had just passed my bike test a few months ago is there any recommendations for insurance companies?

I have 1 year no claims on bike and 9 on the car, I have tried checking prices on the car and with the DR10 it adds about £200 to my premium.

Any help would be appreciated

A good quote for one person could be rubbish for someone else. Too many variables.

£200 extra for the car doesn't sound too painful to be honest.

have you cancelled (or had cancelled) your insurance? Most places will only let you bring forward no claims 1 year, so you might need to be canny with timings.
