Have you got windows installed already? Presuming you're using windows, of course.

If so, you should be able to get some good clues by getting the ID number from device manager.

Search for this and I suspect they'll all be generic bits of hardware used in other products.

If all else fails.

Download Unbuntu and install it on a USB stick.

Though Unbuntu is getting pretty fat these days, it burst through the 1gb size about 6 months ago.

have you tried mint 12 with KDE?
i liked KDE back in the day but think it has gone to shit in the last few years. then the same thing happened with gnome 3, but mint seem to have rescued it

You are the only #!er in the village. Razz

I suggest Mint because It Just Works, and real people use it, which is what you want when popping a Lunix cherry.

Bunch of slack-jawed faggots around here. This stuff will make you a goddamned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me.

Assuming your running windows

try something like drivermax see if it can detect the make/model of the hardware in it then you can download the drivers the hardware vendor directly

Try everest ultimate edition.

Uploading drivers now, I'll link them when I get back from work later. Only got the 32bit drivers for that machine but if nothing else, they will give you an idea of what you need. The graphics chip in that thing is an S3 unichrome if that helps in the mean time.

*edit* If I remember right, that chassis has the wifi switched off by default when you power it up. Fn and F2 or thereabouts will get it going.
