I thought this might be interesting, its much easier than most people think riding everywhere without your clutch and on some bikes and with my own bike mod its even possible to do stops and starts without your clutch
I over ridden all the cut offs that prevent your bike starting like neutral switch, slide stand switch etc by putting a shortcut for battery to starter direct.
I did this so if ever I was many miles from anywhere and the bike wouldnt start I have a better chance to get home instead of freezing to death in the middle of nowhere, Scotland for you ____________________ Ride Safe |

Meh.
I clutchless up the box when giving it some, no harm in that.
Going down the box requires a well timed throttle blip to get it correct. If done correctly, it feels smooth and slick.
Going down i only really do it when my cable breaks. Pointless otherwise. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600

the thing is, that vid is useless because you have bypassed
the clutch and side stand switches,
in reality when a cable breaks, that stuff isnt by-passed,
normally when it happens ...
you slow down to a stop,
kill the engine, get it in to neutral, start engine again
when lights go green, move you bike forward with your legs
untill you get a bit of speed up then dump it in gear,
a bit of a hop and your away,
its not hard, just a bit stressfull ____________________ the humans are dead

Yes I agree and thats why I bypassed them, older bikes that will start in gear you can get home if you know what your doing, its not the kind of thing you do without practice or you could be in trouble ____________________ Ride Safe |
