iPad iMessage

[gray84]

I have a iPad 2 wifi and I can't the get imessage to work. To start you need to set it up with your your iTunes username and password but when I try that it says "could not sign in,please check your Internet connection and try again"

Anyone know why? Is it just 3G iPads that can use this feature.

Thanks

Gray

For the amount you paid for it mate I'd ring customer services. Doubt many people on here are big on the apple thing.

Or try the forums.

I've used a wifi (e.g. non 3G) version of the ipad to send iMessages to iphones (& can reply back)

I presume the ipad can browse the web normally etc..?

Are you behind a proxy...

It doesn't understand proxies...

[gray84]

Yeh does the web fine but it just won't even sign in to iMessage never mind using the damn iMessage.
