I'd send the cheque off pronto, it'll fill up quick, I've sent mine off and don't have a bike together yet.

@G

Standard front springs yes, basically standard bikes, only minor tuning allowed, should make it fairly even.

Actually, pretty major tuning is allowed, you've just got make it work with a standard carb.

But the point was that I've got a c90 with non-standard forks Sad.

Standard carb and standard bore.

Only a small carb as standard, so not alot to be gained, especially if you sacrifice reliability. We will see.

I've got a set of standard forks you can borrow, but I'd need them back afterwards.

Technically they didn't say you can't supercharge, would need a fair amount of tinkering time though which sadly I do not have.

@ Gmanxiii

Nice one, will have to pop over and say hello Thumbs Up

Quick update, pics to follow when they're up.

Amazing day,

Started 24th out of 36, at 11.00 my brother stacked it and we were down to 21st, got a bit of a squiffy on then and finished 13th with a best lap of 1,30.8.

Had a few front end issues! Stopped it chattering so much with a lower front tyre pressure.

DEFINATELY need a quicker engine next year. We struggled on outright speed, alot of bikes pulled away on the big long straights. Especially frustrating if you got on the power sooner than them!

Edit, nice to meet Gmanxii off here too, shame they struggled with the bike a little bit, falling to pieces and things! Mr. Green

Lots of fast stuff on C90s with stock suspension?

Maybe happy I missed it, then Smile.
Was there much crashing?

Glad you had fun and did ok, etc.

Well, as fast as it would go. Bit alien going into the second part of a chicane WOT. Laughing

We had better rear suspension but the front was stock. Still good enough for KD, worryingly.

Lots of crashes. Few people had trips in the ambulances, but nothing serious I don't think. Ribs and things.

When we did the BEMSEE moped thingy I found the track a bit boring on our DNA125 - most of the track just at wide open throttle with no traction issues.

While the supermopedathon (which seems to have died a death Sad ) had a nice course involving lots of tight corners and while there was plenty of wide open throttle, you could still make better progress pushing the limits of traction, keeping the speed up through corners etc. Seemed about right for a stock c90 (well, only just used 3rd with the stock, but I find 3rd pretty lethargic on the road too.)
