The stuff I got from there had lasted very well indeed. In terms of waterproofing its brilliant as well.
As been said, they won't be round for much longer because of their extortionate prices

That rumour about Hein Gericke is totally true. I heard it from my dads mates nephews neighbour who used to work next door to a HG shop

Ordered my gloves from them three weeks ago, and still haven't shown up  Been promised they'll be here tomorrow at the latest after three phonecalls, that said they were very helpful on the phone and did bother to track the parcel etc.
I'm not in a rush for them though, so no bother, and I did save about £45 on them!

Got some summer and winter gloves for work from them, had to get the summer ones ordered in because they didn't have the right size. 2 weeks and nothing so rang them and the first had got lost, so they got the second sent out, had them redirected from the store to my address, arrived last week.
Winter ones are fantastic, HG brand, fully waterproof and windproof, to test them I dunked my hands in a bucket of cold water up to the wrists and had them in there for several minutes but no leaks and hands didn't even feel cold.
Be a shame if they are on the verge of administration, because they do have some great stuff, but the price is premium, and internet order sites with no "brick & mortar overheads" can often do much cheaper now. |

Gloves finally arrived this morning, 15 days later.... and I have a medium left glove, and an extra large right glove.
Unhappy doesn't quite cover it!

I had exactly the same problem with my order, showing as "Processing" after seven days I called them and was told that "they left yesterday, should be with you tomorrow." Another week later I called again and was told "Ah, yes, we didn't have them in stock, I'll call you back in ten minutes."
Which to be fair, the gentleman on the phone did, and explained they'd be dispatched straight from a store, three days later they finally arrived, and I have one medium glove, and one XXL glove......... They clearly aren't interested in solving the problem.
Exactly the same, phone call saying to email or call back later, I emailed them three days ago and haven't had a response.

The only problem I have with Hein Gericke is that I always find something online, go down to the store and it's never in stock...I would order it from the site but judging by some of the experiences posted above that seems more hassle than its worth!
